There is one Southern Baptist Church for every 3,000 Georgia residents. However, in the Gwinnett Metro area there are 7,000 residents for every SBC church. We could not begin to accommodate or hope to reach every local resident even if they all decided to begin attending next Sunday. Therefore, the Gwinnett Metro Network has a Foundation that works in partnership with our leadership team focused on planting new churches every year to help us share the gospel and reach our friends and neighbors. Once those new churches are planted, we provide support for the pastor so that we can strengthen his church and help them to serve their community.
